New to Perth Physio Collective?
Here’s what new patients need to know.
The Collective can be found within Baby Steps Health Centre in Subiaco Square. We’re a stone’s throw from Subiaco Train Station, as well as multiple free parking options.
You can park in Woolworths’ underground car park for up to 90 minutes and in Coles’ for up to 3 hours. Look for the large building to the right of the train station (from Woolies) and when making your way across Station St (from Coles).
Unless you have an EPC (Enhanced Primary Care Plan) or DVA (Department of Veterans Affairs) card, no GP referral is needed. You can book online or by calling the Baby Steps reception.
You’ll need to fill in a New Patient form prior to your initial physiotherapy consultation. This form is sent to new patients via SMS when they book online or over the phone.
Perth Physio Collective has HICAPS available for private health insurance claims on the spot. Your rebate will depend on your insurer.
There are some instances where Physiotherapy can be partially covered by Medicare. These include:
- EPC (Enhanced Primary Care Plan) – patients with chronic medical conditions can seek an EPC from their GP that will allow up to 5 sessions per calendar year to be partially covered by Medicare. The current medicare rebate for patients with an EPC is $56.
- DVA (Department of Veterans Affairs) – patients with a Veteran Card and a GP referral can have up to 12 sessions per treatment cycle partially covered by Medicare (if deemed clinically necessary).
